Description:
This installation is placed in the corner of a space, extending the spatial dimensions by incorporating ceramic eyeballs placed on mirrors. During the creation process, the artist's body movements involve wandering and exploring. Through the act of duplicating ceramic eyeballs, the body engages in repetitive actions, gradually developing a habitual pattern, much like the rhythm of breathing. However, the artwork subtly reveals a sense of confinement and hidden information within the space, which may go unnoticed. It deceives the viewer into believing in their absolute freedom, immersing them in a virtual greenhouse. The work represents the erosion of primal anxiety, the inherent constraints on the body and the mind. The artist employs the inertia of the repeated bodily motions to create illusions, concealing anxiety and restlessness beneath the appearance of freedom, continuously enveloping the seemingly liberated soul.
