In Eastern societies, physical contact with others in social settings is relatively rare. Unexpected touching can breed hostility, leading to misunderstandings, fear, and a sense of unfamiliarity. The hand, a universal feature of human anatomy, is constantly present in our daily lives. When its image is separated from the body and appears independently in different spaces, welcoming the audience with jubilation, it transforms into multiple and concentrated organs, each an independent entity, shaping a surreal spatial visual sensation.
In social psychology, humans are regarded as social animals, incapable of living independently. Whether psychologically or physiologically, it's difficult to detach from the collective. In internet culture, there's a common phrase: "My 'left hand' is with me." It's a self-deprecating joke (usually referring to males) that humorously acknowledges the loneliness and emptiness of modern online relationships. For women, at least their "hand" is unlikely to leave them, expressing complex emotions such as loneliness, humor, and humility.
